While we often work with established brands, there is something uniquely exciting about a client approaching us with nothing but a name and a vision. Our recent project for Mirage Lounge, a new restaurant and lounge in Mississauga, was exactly that opportunity.
The Challenge: Branding from Scratch
The client came to us without a logo or an established brand identity. They needed more than just a sign; they needed a face for their new business. Our design team jumped at the chance to develop a custom logo from the ground up—one that would perfectly capture the bold atmosphere and vibrant style they envisioned for their space.
Once branding was established, we moved to the physical execution. The goal was a striking nighttime presence, so we chose illuminated channel letters to bring the new brand to life after dark.
The Installation: Overcoming Architectural Hurdles
Every building has its quirks, and the Mirage Lounge façade presented a unique challenge. The exterior featured decorative wooden louvers, which meant a standard installation wasn't possible.
Our installation team had to carefully plan the mounting process to ensure the heavy channel letters were secure while maintaining visual balance against the textured background. It required precision and expert technical execution to ensure the sign looked like it belonged there, rather than just being "stuck on."
